Description:
Uni-Coat 4000 Si Aluprime HR is a one-component, modified silicone, heat resistant, aluminium filled, Intermediate/topcoat with enhanced coating strength and edge protection due to the micaceous iron oxide (MIO) addition formulated for use in multi-coat systems for the protection of objects which are subjected to very high thermal stress. Uni-Coat 4000 Si Aluprime Heat Resistant gives a slip resistant.
The plate-like structure of MIO provides maximum surface tolerance without compromising the existing adhesion characteristics to the substrate and promotes mechanical bonding for top-coating
Uni-Coat 4000 Si Aluprime HR typically dry tack-free at room temperature and has very good weather and corrosion resistance. However, optimum mechanical resistance generally requires a minimum exposure to temperatures at or above 200°C for at least 60 minutes.
Uni-Coat 4000 Si Aluprime HR is thermal stable up to 600°C.
